What we do
Architectural Woodworking Institute-We base our everyday standards on the quality and qualifications mandated by the organization. We have been members, supporters and contributors for over ten years.
Associated Builders and Contractors-With close ties to our general contrators we are able to keep up with continued education, and follow the latest trends in the industry.
Engineering-Our entire "in-house" engineering department is trained and proficient in AutoCad. We use the most up to date versions in order to interact with the design professionals in order to insure proper specification and design tolerances. We are able to make last minute modifications in order to adhere to the strict scheduling deadlines imposed on todays projects.
Project Management-Our four full time project managers are first and foremost, woodworking professionals. We have either "grown up" in the shop or been involved in the installation of very complex millwork projects all over the world. They are all able to work independently and have the decision making authority to insure timely response to project changes.
Estimating-We have designed our inhouse estimating program to be the most up to date user friendly in the industry. It is unparalleled with respect to accuracy and effieciency. We are able to give detailed scopes with breakouts on an immediate basis in order to facilitate precise quotations for our customers needs. We welcome requests for budget proposals in order to premanage projects.
Manufacture-With 40,000 square feet of production space, we are able to produce even the most complex and unique projects concieved. We believe we have assembled a team of craftsmen which are among the finest in the industry. Our low turnover solidifies our notion that we have created a working environment which allows these talented individuals to be productive and efficient. We constantly research the means and methods in our industry, update equipment and techniques and encourage education to all of our emplyees. With high speed Wienig Moulders and inhouse griding facilities we are able to create any moulding run imagined in a manner which suits the project duration. This coupled with our ability to produce complex architectural woodwork, exotic panelling, casework and solid surface makes us the premier woodworking company in the southeast.
Finishing-We believe we have the finest finishing department available. Our inhouse color matching system, cutting edge finishing equipment and use of the finest materials available, allows us to produce even the most creative finishes imagined. Our finishers have unparalled experience allowing them to be creative and efficient in their tasks. We welcome requests for mock-ups and samples in order to make clear the intent of the design team.
Installation-We prefer to install all of our own woodwork. With craftsmen hired on many criteria, talent is first and foremost. Our supervisors are given the authority to make onsite decisions in order to maintain proper sequencing and schedules. Safety is promoted with our attention to quality and detail following suit. Drug free workforce practices are enforced within every aspect of our company.
